Marasi Business Bay - Future Landmark in Dubai

In a major announcement, Dubai Holdings, through its real estate subsidiary – Dubai Properties Group – has unveiled Marasi Business Bay, a master-planned waterside project and its largest development alongside the creek at Business Bay.

The mega project includes a 12-km long promenade – the longest in the Emirates and the UAE’s first-ever purpose-built yachting destination, complete with retail outlets, cafes, leisure and entertainment facilities, floating restaurants and five gorgeous, palm tree-lined marinas.

Slated to become a major landmark in the UAE and the Middle East, Marasi Business Bay also features floating homes that can be accessed by boats, offering picturesque views of the canal – a first for Dubai’s property market and for buyers looking for a unique concept.

According to a company spokesperson, the project is expected to add a new dimension to the many upcoming leisure, entertainment, tourism and residential options being developed along the Creek – reflecting Dubai’s unparalleled luxury lifestyle and economic prowess, while preserving its rich culture and heritage.

The AED 1 bn project, to be financed internally and in tandem with local institutions, is expected to be completed in phases with the first phase – The Promenade – slated for completion by  September next year, to be followed by the opening of The Park and The Yacht Club.

A major part of the development is slated for completion by 2020, the same year Dubai plays host to the World Expo, with the ancillary works likely to be finished by 2023.
